I had 600 shots of Ulthera today. They offer a variety of anesthesia options, so it’s comfortable to get procedures here. I can’t tolerate pain well, so anesthesia is very important to me. For Ulthera I’m comfortable with a topical cream plus inhaled sedation. (I use the same combo for Juvéderm and Rejuran.) I always have Thermage under general sedation. I had a painful experience stopping a Thermage treatment at another clinic before… I was nervous about sedation, so I had a long consultation. They use much less sedative than other places, the procedure room has CCTV, and the anesthesiologist monitored my breathing and pulse from start to finish, which put me at ease. I trust this clinic because they pay careful attention to anesthesia for safety.
