They pointed out astigmatism and early-stage cataracts—conditions I’d never been told about before—and performed surgery on just one eye that same day using a lens that’s still rare in Japan. I was amazed! The next morning, food I previously couldn’t see without reading glasses was suddenly clear. Everyone at the clinic was kind and made me feel comfortable.
