I agonized over this for five years, and when a friend said they’d had it done here, I finally booked it on a whim! I was shaking with fear during the exam and the thought of surgery, but it hurt far less than I expected—surprisingly painless. About 2–3 hours after the procedure I could already see well! I thought recovery would be quick. At first, when I looked at lights I could see a ring from the lens and wondered if that would be permanent, but it faded with time. I actually only used the eyedrops diligently for the first two weeks and skipped the drops for the next two; luckily the doctor said that was fine now. It’s been over two weeks since I stopped using them. The surgery was done so well—my vision is great and every day feels happier now!
