From the first day, the director and the head counselor were very kind and gave me detailed guidance. The nurses who did the pre-anesthesia checks were also friendly. On the second day, I followed the directions of an extremely kind coordinator. Seeing that I was anxious, the coordinator team leader shared personal experiences and regularly checked in with a warm, reassuring manner, which put me at ease. In the operating room I met the surgical team leader and a nurse; when I gagged a little they calmly reassured me as if it were no big deal. When I woke up I was being moved to my room, and the director even accompanied me to the restroom, perhaps out of concern. It was past 10 p.m., and the director and surgical team leader looked exhausted but stayed to care for me. They took care of every detail, and I even received a call from the surgical team leader on my way home. I don’t remember the conversation clearly in my groggy state, but I could feel their concern. I’m so grateful to all the staff.
