I had the procedure in August 2025. I’m absolutely delighted with the results — I smile a lot more now. I first became interested after seeing a post on X about Zeronate, and I attended a consultation in Shibuya in July. While ceramic is obviously expensive, I chose Zeronate because of the clinic director’s personality and skill. In Japan, the receptionist, the clinic manager, and the director who met with me were all very friendly and genuinely attentive to my concerns. I was hesitant about the cost, and I told myself if the only reason I was hesitating was the price, I should go for it — so I booked the procedure a month after the consultation. When I told the director the kind of smile I wanted, he suggested a tooth design that fit my mouth while keeping the overall vibe I wanted. He explained the difference between an ideal design and what would suit me, which felt very considerate and reassuring. The consultation lasted about an hour to an hour and a half. Talking through everything helped me firm up my decision, so I’m glad I took my time. On the day I traveled to Korea, I was extremely late due to transport delays and felt awful, but the receptionist kindly told me “take your time” (I know being late is not acceptable and I’ll be more careful next time). I had the procedure on the 13th floor. The clinic was even more beautiful in person than in photos — stylish enough to make you question whether it’s really a dental clinic. I had a private room where I could relax; over the two days for impressions and fitting, I felt safe and enjoyed chatting with the director and staff. My teeth weren’t severely misaligned, but my front teeth were slightly twisted and protruded, which made my mouth look a little odd. From the front, my arch looked very rounded and I didn’t like it, so I wanted the lower part of my front teeth adjusted. They removed attachments from a past clear aligner treatment, reshaped the underside of my teeth (not the surface), and performed gum contouring. These were done on day one along with cleaning; they resolved my concerns and I was amazed at the change even before the Zeronate veneers were placed. Because of the gum contouring, I avoided hard, spicy, or hot/sour food and drinks for about a week (I tried to be careful but it still hurt a bit, haha). On day two the director carefully placed the veneers. He did a final check before bonding, and by the time everything was finished I was moved — my teeth had become beautifully natural-looking and the whiteness was perfect. It’s been just over a month and I’ve had no problems; I can smile naturally now and I’m so, so grateful. I had 6 teeth done on the top and 6 on the bottom (12 total), and I’m considering adding more teeth later. This was the best purchase of the year — maybe the best of my life.
